We provide one-to-one tuition for people wanting to learn more on how to use an iPad or a computer, and we also offer more advanced training for those of you who are looking for a higher level of skill and confidence with specific software tools. With many years experience in this field, we aim to set out clearly and simply the services on offer so that you can easily find what you are looking for  -  we want you to have the highest confidence and the least uncertainty.

For those of you who feel it would be useful, we offer a 40 minute session of free computer tuition, without any obligation, so that you can clarify your requirements and can be sure that you will be comfortable with the style of tuition on offer.

Our Experience

Clearway Computing specialises in private tuition as well as general guidance and help for people at home and for small businesses. We offer you considerable benefits in time and convenience by travelling to your premises and by fitting in with your schedule. At the same time, we can jointly tackle the challenges and activities that you particularly want to deal with. In recent years we have provided training and assistance for a wide range of people, including complete beginners, people in new job roles who wish to expand their skills, and experienced users who need to become more productive or confident in specialist tools such as word processing or graphic design. The ages of our clients range from 14 years to 93 years old.

An alliance with Age UK, and the local community services means that we are approved to visit homes of seniors and other people who are not so mobile.

Your next step

With short 60 minute or 90 minute lessons from our experienced tutor at Clearway, you should quickly progress, and any questions and areas of potential confusion will be properly resolved. Once confidence is built up, you can reduce the frequency of lessons or simply call for extra assistance as and when you need it. The Cost

Unlike many websites, our charges are clearly stated. The standard charge is £55 per hour, with no hidden extra costs. We believe this is very competitive in relation to other providers in the area. Lessons lasting an hour, or an hour and a half are usually the most effective, but you may choose whatever duration suits you. See Prices page for more details.
