Beginners learn the essentials of creating slides in slide view, rearranging them using the slide sorter view and how to develop an effective presentation. We also explain the outline tool, how to choose a suitable background theme, as well as the more common tasks of adding titles and bullet points, inserting and formatting graphic images and choosing the best layout for each slide.
Students who wish to advance to the intermediate level will learn how to work with charts and tables, how to move pictorial elements around the screen, and add sound and navigation buttons. Slide transitions and animations are introduced to allow professional looking screen shows with manual or rehearsed timings. We also explain the slide master view and to how use the library of special effects to their best advantage.
